T-online disable SSL V3, Lotus Notes doesn't support TLS

Hello,

thank you Lisa and Thomas for your help. Using the recommended links I found in the T-Online forum the information that T-Online disabled SSL V3 last week and that Lotus Notes does not support TLS.

Supposedly Notes v9.02 will fix this and a solution in form of an apar fix is available for v.9.01. If so : where can I get this fix?

Regards

Roger

The fix for SPR #MPAA6PQCHK will not provide relief
Hi Roger,

It's likely that the fix described in the discussion relates to SPR #MPAA6PQCHK, which allowed for standalone Notes users to authenticate using negotiated SSL, but this relies on SSL v3 being available. With SSL v3 being disabled by providers, that fix will unfortunately not provide any relief.

We are documenting all customer reports for this issue, requiring support for TLS without SSL v3 involved, in SPR #LCAY9QCDSW/APAR LO82544. As well as each PMR for this issue adding to the SPR's triage weight, they will ensure we can pass on any news directly as soon as it is available, so we would certainly encourage you (and any other affected customer) to open a PMR.

Best,
Lisa
